Mini Story Makers

Details

Beat the January blues and bring your mini to Story Makers this month. Mini Story Makers is a play and stay session aimed at children 3 and 4. It's particularly suited for pre-school and foundation stage children. In January, we'll be reading How to Catch a Star and making a rocket. There will be a starry challenge to complete. Afterwards, Makers are welcome to take part in imaginative play. Some examples include block building, magnetic making, and car corner. A small snack and juice for children is included in the ticket price. Crafts are aimed at children aged 3 or over. They'll need the help of an adult to make it. Grandparents, aunties, uncles, all welcome. We know siblings hate being left out, so they're welcome too. Siblings over 2 can join in making, although some of the makes might be a little bit fiddly. They can have a snack too. Siblings under 2 can join and listen to the story, but no crafts or snack will be provided for them. There is a help yourself tea, coffee, and snack station for adults (£1 suggested donation). Bringing your own lidded reusable cup would be great. You can find us on Instagram: story_makers_yorkshire and Facebook: Story Makers Yorkshire * Also, it's run by a qualified teacher. All sessions target the EYFS statutory framework of literacy and expressive arts and crafts. Shhhh.... your Mini Makers will never know it's learning.

The event organiser has stated that this event is disability friendly.
