Intermediate/Advanced Pole Fitness Class
Details
This class is designed for students who are ready to take their pole fitness journey to the next level. It focuses on building strength, flexibility, and flow while incorporating dynamic tricks, combinations, and transitions. Prerequisites: Attendees must be able to confidently perform an invert (both controlled entry and exit) as this skill forms the foundation for many of the moves taught in this class. A solid understanding of basic climbs, spins, and transitions is also recommended. What to Expect: Warm-Up: A targeted warm-up to prepare the body for advanced-level movements, focusing on core activation, upper body strength, and joint mobility. Strength & Conditioning: Specific exercises designed to improve grip strength, core engagement, and muscle endurance necessary for challenging pole tricks. Tricks & Combos: Learn intermediate to advanced tricks such as shoulder mounts, aerial inverts, extended butterfly, and leg hangs. These will be combined into seamless flows with a focus on technique and artistry. Come prepared to work hard and celebrate your progress! All classes are held at Starlight Academy Studios in Guiseley, which is located on the business park behind McDonalds. There is plenty of parking on site. Please bring water and any snacks that you might want, as there are no facilities on site to purchase these.
